Sarah Macleish

Reference Group Member, THE ARCHES FOUNDATION REPRESENTATIVE

Sarah MacLeish is a Co-Founder and Co-Managing Director at Arches Accommodation Supports and The Arches Foundation.

With over a 15 years’ experience in the residential care, family intervention and youth sector, Sarah has an in-depth understanding of what it takes to provide genuine, effective support to families and young people in need. Starting her career as a youth worker, Sarah’s ability to connect with clients and colleagues, combined with her experience in business management and training, quickly propelled her to roles with wider influence and responsibility. Her dedication to help those at risk led to the creation of Real Support Services (Youth and Family Intervention Organisation) which provides in-home and outreach support to clients from South East to Central Queensland. Through Real Support Services (now The Arches Foundation), Sarah was approached by Queensland Child Safety to undertake a specialised residential care model- from which point Arches Accommodation evolved.

Sarah has a Masters of Business Administration (Australian Institute of Business), Graduate Diploma in Community Sector Management (Asset College) Diploma of Management (Seed Skills) Child Youth and Family Intervention Worker- Child Protection (Certification, Queensland Government, Skills Government). In her spare time, Sarah engages her creative self through painting, music, writing and travel.
