Parkerville Children and Youth Care exists to provide advocacy, services and supports to children, young people and families to reduce the impacts of child abuse and in doing so help WA to become the safest place in the world to bring up children.
Every year, we support more than 10,000 people across Western Australia through our child advocacy services, integrated family services, early intervention and prevention, youth homelessness and supports, therapeutic foster and residential care program. Their future depends on what we do in the present to assist them to reach their potential.
Founded as the Parkerville Children’s Home in 1903, Parkerville Children and Youth Care has evolved into a dynamic, professional organisation that is leading the sector in innovative and responsive services. Our team of more than 250 skilled and experienced staff includes psychologists, social workers, teachers, occupational therapists, professional and respite carers, administrative and corporate personnel, working from Child, Youth and Family Centres in Midland, Armadale and Rockingham and our Head Office in Burswood, as well as from schools, advocacy and counselling centres across the metropolitan area.
