Claire has been involved in the NTRCA since 2017 firstly as the Executive Officer and currently as the Board Treasurer. Claire began her career as a youth worker in government residential services in the early 2000s. Since that time Claire has worked in operational leadership as well as roles including strategy, policy and program development. Apart from delivering and designing residential care programs, Claire is experienced in adjacent fields of practice within social and community housing, homelessness, early intervention, financial counselling and family support. Claire is passionate about supporting children, families and communities to thrive through best practice support, collaboration, innovation, and design-thinking. She is committed to disrupting the intergenerational impacts of colonialism and oppression by building partnerships with the Aboriginal Community, not-for-profit agencies, government and the private sector to drive system change and a positive future for all. Claire holds qualifications in both business (MBA) and social work (MSW).
