Andrea Senior is an accomplished director and executive with over 20 years of experience leading service delivery and operational strategy working with Young Offenders, Youth Specialist Homelessness, Youth AOD, and Child Protection sectors. She began her residential career with Anglicare Victoria in 2006, providing AOD counselling to young people placed in out-of-home care. Andrea has remained committed to this sector since this time.
Andrea is deeply passionate about ensuring residential care is used purposefully as a targeted intervention, supporting young people to exit into safe, stable adulthood or reconnect with kin and family based options.
For the past five years, she has led Children, Youth and Family Services at Kanda, a national organisation recognised for its trauma-informed, responsive models and innovative growth. While Kanda operates across multiple service areas it remains firmly rooted in local communities and committed to safety, customer service, and genuine care.
Andrea is known for her unwavering focus on early intervention, family reunification, and delivering meaningful outcomes for vulnerable children, young people, and families.
